So, let's talk about what I did during the Maker Faire.
On the first day 6/4/2014 ( Sunday ), we went to the event place by using metro ! It took us 1 hour from the place where we lived ( Grand Theater) at Shenzen to the event's place ( Sea World) . For your information, our cost of living for 6 nights at Shenzen for only 390 Yuan total for each person!

Once we reached there, we went to join a talk by keynotes speakers.
Talk by Dale Dougherty - Founder of Maker Media

Great to have a picture with Dale Dougherty - Founder of Maker Media
The talk was so inspiring for me ! Get to hear the experience from the founders of big companies !
Next, we participated in a Mixer Workshop organized by Seeed Studio Company and it's free of charge ( Pre-registered through We Chat/ Email )
Kids were excited to play around with the Mixer block
The Mixer blocks
This workshop is awesome ! They gave us different block of circuit that perform different functions ! For example, we can connect a button block as input and then we connect a motor fan at the output. Then when the button is pressed, the fan spins. This workshop attracted a lot of parents and kids to come over to have a look and I did give the opportunities for the kids to try on it and explain the simple concept to them !
After the workshop, then we walked around the booths at the maker faire.
