How To - Duplicate your layout design in Eagle Cadsoft software

Hey guys , how are you doing so far ?

In this post, I am going to share a pretty simple knowledge yet might be useful for some of you that design PCBs using Eagle Cadsoft Software.

When you are designing your PCB in Eagle, have you ever wondered how would you 'COPY'& 'PASTE' the same design and get them printed together so that your PCB/Magazine/Photo paper is not wasted for some portion ? Well, not necessary same design, you could probably 'COPY' different design and merge them to become a single layout file !

Video Tutorial :

Hope you are clear and learnt something new from the video.

Thank you !

Enjoy !

  4. Nice and practical tip for Eagle users! Optimizing board space by duplicating layouts is a smart way to save material and reduce fabrication costs, especially for small-batch projects. This kind of workflow can be really helpful when working with smt components , where efficient placement and panelization matter a lot for both assembly and production. The idea of merging multiple designs into a single layout file is also a great productivity boost. Simple tricks like this can make a big difference over time—thanks for sharing this useful insight with the community!
